We currently have remote and/or hybrid positions for Junior/Intermediate Environmental Health Scientists in Ontario,Alberta or British Columbia.

The positions would involve providing support to senior scientists on the environmental team:
Conduct literature searches and reviews
Critically review scientific information
Interpret scientific data
Write technical reports
Liaise with clients and regulators
Work closely with Intrinsik’s cross-country environmental team
The successful candidate(s) would ideally have the following qualifications and attributes:
2-5 years of relevant experience in:
human health risk assessment
health impact assessment: this includes having knowledge of and evaluating the social determinants of health
climate change and health vulnerability and adaptation assessments
Graduate degree (e.g., M.Sc., MPH, M.Env.Sc.) in a relevant field of study (e.g., toxicology, epidemiology, public health, biology, environmental science, etc.)
Demonstrated high degree of independence and proficiency with scientific writing and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task (multiple projects/issues) and prioritize workload within a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment

Our senior scientists have considerable experience in litigation; appearing as expert witnesses in court proceedings and regulatory hearings.
